                                        Bio

Lauren Freckles is a best-selling children's author and creator of the picture book series, “Babbling Beth The Story Chef,” written for young readers who love food, music and fun stories. As a children's author, mentor, and entertainer. Lauren’s goal is to help encourage children to live purposeful lives.        

 

 From a very young age, Lauren has had a remarkable passion for using entertainment to touch the lives of children.  She takes great joy in her positive influence with youth as she has assisted in directing an award-winning production for middle school children promoting anti-bullying and has spent years as a volunteer counselor for foster children. Lauren continues to supports several organizations that helps provide for the needs of children without parents in addition to families in need.

 

She is also the founder of a children's after-school theater program that used theater to build confidence, character, and purpose in children. Within her program, she was and is best known for wearing her imaginary “Awesome Meter Glasses” in which she has special powers to see the awesomeness inside of others. Lauren continues to use this motto to reach children and families through theater, books, and entertainment.

 

 Lauren holds a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Theater For Children from San Diego State University and a Masters Degree in Management from Azusa Pacific University.
